The official signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Newcastle University in Singapore and BUET took place at BUET under the presence of the Comptroller and the representatives of the 2 parties to undertake this signing ceremony, respectively the Project Lead (Dr. Arun Dev) and the Project Co-lead (Dr. Zakaria).
With this formal proceeding, the Project was officially inaugurated to be started from April 2021. The initial date for launching the project was presumed to be 2020 but as a result of the global Covid pandemic, the project was deferred to 2021.
