Partners: Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (Bangladesh) - The Project Co-lead (supervised by Dr. N.M. Golam Zakaria at the Naval Architecture & Marine Engineering (NAME) department at BUET, and Kabir Steel Limited (Bangladesh) - the Project's Industrial Partner.

To better understand the relationship between ship recycling practices, their hazards, and the safety and well-being of the people who work in ship dismantling/recycling facilities in Bangladesh.

The contract was signed on 13th March 2020.
