Announcement of 3rd National Seminar in August 2025

We are pleased to announce that a national seminar on ‘Current ship recycling practices in Bangladesh: Hong Kong Convention (HKC) Ratification and Future Challenges & Opportunities’ will be held in the coming days. The event will be conducted in both online and offline formats to ensure maximum participation and convenience.

This seminar will feature expert speakers and engaging discussions on the current ship recycling practice in Bangladesh from an industrial and economic perspective, along with the existing hurdles to the national ship recycling economy and the ways forward to ratification of the HKC, as well as future prospects. We encourage all interested participants to join in the format that suits them best.
