From August to October 2023, our team conducted extensive survey activities across 18 distinct shipyards in Chattogram. Data collection involved structured questionnaire-based interviews with workers and yard personnel to gain deeper insights into working conditions, safety practices, and social well-being. This initiative aims to support evidence-based improvements in occupational safety and environmental standards within the ship recycling industry.
